We have to do away with web thinking — after all there was never anything special about http
or any other specific technology. We have to forget about navigation, interface design, and publishing systems
and focus on the experience, the story, the idea.
As artists and programmers, we can have whatever we want.
We can have networked experiences with or without the web. We can have just about any kind of
media experience you can imagine. But first we have to learn to see New Media as new again,
to approach problems with a blank slate.
