Wilson Southam, visionary and Southam board member, needed to see his company exploring new media. In 1992 he gathered an R&D team that included educational consultants, internal Southam staff and Mackerel.
The team was to invent and prototype for a new kind educational resource, a CD ROM with interactive learning components. In 1992, there were no models to follow.
Based on our prototype, Southam developed True North into a successful CD-ROM series, used in classrooms across Canada.
